Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to MindBoost Times Tables, the multiplication practice app offered under the MindBoost Academy name. By using the app, you agree to these terms, subject to the applicable app-store licence and your rights under consumer law.
These terms relate to MindBoost Times Tables only. The separate MindBoost Maths Academy app may have different features and terms.
About the App
MindBoost Times Tables offers multiplication practice and timed challenges covering tables from 2× through 50×, with selected free content and optional Premium features. The app may include XP, achievements, personal bests, table mastery and progress statistics.
It is an educational practice tool. We cannot guarantee a particular learning outcome, examination result or improvement in maths performance.
Children and Families
Children may use the app with appropriate supervision from a parent or carer. An adult should review subscription costs and device purchase settings. If a child cannot legally accept these terms or purchase a subscription independently, a parent or guardian should make those decisions where required.
Free and Premium Features
The app provides selected times tables and practice modes free of charge. Premium unlocks additional tables and features identified in the app's subscription screen. Premium does not automatically give users XP, mastery or achievements, and does not change how answers are assessed.
The exact features offered are those shown in the app at the time of purchase, subject to any applicable legal rights.
Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
Premium may be offered through monthly and yearly automatically renewing subscriptions billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The applicable price, currency, billing period and any available introductory offer will be shown in the store purchase flow before you confirm your purchase.
By confirming an automatically renewing subscription, you authorise the relevant store to charge the applicable amount at each renewal until the subscription is cancelled. Pricing and availability can vary by region, taxes and store configuration. A free trial is offered only if explicitly shown in the store's purchase flow.
Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions
You manage cancellation using the store account through which the subscription was purchased. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
- Apple subscriptions: Manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings.
- Google Play subscriptions: Manage or cancel in Google Play's subscription centre.
Unless the store's terms or applicable law provide otherwise, cancelling renewal normally allows access until the end of the period already paid for.
Restoring Purchases
If you have an eligible active subscription, use Restore Purchases in the app to ask the relevant store and subscription service to verify it. You may need to use the same Apple or Google account through which you purchased Premium, and an internet connection may be required. Restoring access does not create a second subscription.
Refunds and Consumer Rights
Apple and Google generally handle refunds for purchases billed through their respective stores. Cancelling a renewal is not necessarily the same as requesting a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights regarding digital content under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights depend on the law and circumstances of the purchase.
Learning Progress and Device Storage
Practice sessions, XP, achievements, mastery, nickname and preferences are primarily stored on your device. The app does not currently provide a MindBoost cloud account or guaranteed cross-device progress syncing. Resetting progress, removing the app or changing devices may affect saved records. Restoring a subscription does not necessarily restore learning progress.

Appropriate Use
You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse subscription systems, bypass paid restrictions, interfere with app services, distribute unauthorised modified copies or use the app's content in ways that infringe another person's rights.
Intellectual Property and Licence
MindBoost branding and original app content, artwork, interface and code belong to the provider or its licensors, subject to applicable third-party and open-source licences. The app is licensed for personal, non-commercial use under the applicable app-store licence and these terms.
For iOS, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement applies where used for the App Store listing. For Android, these app-specific terms operate alongside the applicable Google Play Terms of Service.
Availability and External Services
We aim to keep the app functional, but features may be affected by device compatibility, operating-system changes, maintenance, connectivity or interruptions in app-store services. Subscription billing and entitlement verification rely on Apple, Google and RevenueCat, as appropriate.
We may update features where permitted by law, but we will not remove statutory rights or knowingly misrepresent purchased entitlements.
Our Responsibility
We do not exclude or restrict liability where the law does not permit it, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for problems caused solely by misuse of the app, your device settings or unrelated service interruptions where applicable law does not make us responsible.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the app, service providers or applicable law. The revised terms will appear on this webpage with a new date. Where legally required, we will provide notice or obtain agreement before material changes apply.
Law and Disputes
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections you may have in your home country. You retain any rights to bring a claim in a court or use a dispute process that applicable law allows.
